Ron Renner, Founder and President of Certified Interior Decorators International, Director and Author of Certified Interior Decorators Certification Program and President of Designer Templates
Ron Renner is a founding Professional Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and is certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ). Ron has also served as membership chairman and as a member of the board of directors for ASID and has been selected to serve as proctor for several NCIDQ exams. Mr. Renner is one of the nation’s first state licensed interior designers.
Ron Renner, Artist
Ron is not only recognized for his business acumen and aesthetic skills in the interior design and decoration industry, he is also well established in the art world through his work as an abstract artist. Ron’s art has been featured on the cover of Palm Beach Illustrated accompanied by a two-page article. He is listed in the Art in America Annual Guide and his work has been seen in Art News magazines. He started painting under the influence of his parents who owned the Renner Art Center in New Jersey.
Ron studied at the Philadelphia College of Art, majoring in Interior Design and Fine Arts, and also studied at Fleisher Art Memorial under abstract artist Tom Gaughan. Artists who have influenced his style are Klee, Kandinsky, Kirschner, Nolde, Miro, Picasso and Cezanne. Mr. Renner currently paints in his studio located in Stuart, Florida
