Qualifications and Sign-up for Membership

Please review the qualifications below. Have your paperwork ready along with your credit card, billing and shipping address.

1. Please review the type of membership you are qualified for. (Professional or Student)

If you are purchasing a professional membership, please fax a description of your education to date including the C.I.D. Accredited or Approved program you have completed. Please include all schools attended, certificates or degrees obtained, and dates of graduation. Certification will not be awarded without appropriate education from a CID accredited or approved program. If your school or program is not shown on our Schools and Training page, please contact us at 1800-624-0093 for evaluation.

• Professional - your proof of graduation of a C.I.D. approved or accredited college or by correspondence course or online program.
• Student - Proof of enrollment of approved or accredited college or by correspondence course or online program.

3. Start membership application by selecting below by selecting classification (Professional or Student)

4. For Professional membership, select online exam or direct mail exam. Click the button to go to the Form. Describe your education to date including the C.I.D. Accredited program you have completed. Fill out the form with your information accurately. Pay with MasterCard, Visa and American Express (You can pay with credit card by phone if signing up for home study courses - Call (1-800-624-0093)

5. If taking online exam, after payment, please follow the instructions. Following the online Entrance Exam, your results will be emailed to you. Within 7 working days, you will receive your C.I.D. Certification.
